Sleep & Sport – Symposium of the European Sleep Foundation

On January 15, 2026, the European Sleep Foundation invites you to the Sleep & Sport Symposium at the Centro Sportivo Nazionale della Gioventù in Tenero. Continuing Education: Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

The Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) will offer a two-day online continuing education course on the evidence-based treatment of chronic insomnia on November 7 and 8, 2025. The focus is on the practical instruction of the fundamentals and methods of cognitive behavioral therapy, which is recommended as a first-line therapy. The event is recognized by SSPP, SSSSC, and the European CBT-I Academy.

Ado-Somnie Masterclass

The Ado-Somnie Masterclass will take place on October 10–11, 2025 in Paris and is specifically aimed at healthcare professionals who support adolescents with sleep problems. Participants include Prof. Patricia Franco (Hospices Civils de Lyon), who will speak about the influence of screens on sleep and the treatment of obstructive sleep disorders in adolescence. Sleep & Health Seminar October 25

On September 26, Prof. Dr. Natalia Egorova-Brumley from the University of Melbourne will give a lecture as part of an additional SHZ seminar. The neuroscientist heads the Pain and Cognition Neuroimaging Lab and researches how pain affects the brain and how cognitive processes change pain perception. Under the title “Understanding the relationship between sleep and pain,” she provides insights into the complex relationships between sleep and pain.
