How does our living and residential environment affect health, well-being, and sleep? This is the question explored by the research project URBASAN. The intercantonal study is being conducted by EPFL and the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG) and examines the links between environmental factors, geographical living conditions, and the health of the population in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, and Neuchâtel.

A particular focus is on the regions of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle. The data collected is intended to help us better understand how our living environment influences health and well-being, and which factors can promote quality of life in the long term.

Participants are currently being sought for the current phase of the study.

By taking part, you support scientific research and make an important contribution to the development of health-promoting living environments.
